STANDARD VMQ silicone hoses, blue color
with multiple incorporated polyester textile reinforcements
APPLICATION :
pipes usable in pressurized air conditioning systems for civil and industrial vehicles,
transport of high-temperature fluids.
Its use is indicated in both cooling and heating systems on buses,
trucks and industrial vehicles as well as in the refrigeration systems of cogeneration units
than in marine engines.
Ideal for use between -60° and 180°C (peaks of 200 ºC for short periods of time).
- Resistance to antifreeze and antirust agents.
- High resistance to ozone.
- High hardening resistance with excellent compression characteristics.
- Excellent flexibility during the assembly process.
- Excellent resistance to thermal aging and oxidizing agents (oxygen, ozone, UV rays).
CONSTRUCTION :
The construction material is VMQ (Vinyl Methyl-Quality) silicone rubber, STANDARD BLUE color (other colors on request). Compound hardness 65-75 Shore A.
This product is made with three or four polyester reinforcements.
The standard production length is 1 or 4 meters.
LIMITATIONS:
They are not suitable for the continuous passage and storage of hydrocarbons (although resistant to traces of oil and diesel). They are not suitable for use in high vacuum conditions or for transporting abrasive powders. This type of hose is not suitable for negative pressure (vacuum) applications. The operating pressure and breaking load were determined through pressure tests in accordance with ISO 1402/2009.

- Silicone rubber used is in accordance with EU Directive 2002/95/ECC for Restriction of the use of hazardous substances (RoHS).
- The silicone for this hose is classified as M1 according to UNE 23.727-90 standard and as F2 according to NF F 16-101.
- The burning, smoke and dripping class of this reference is S-3, SR-2 and ST-2 acceding to DIN 54837:2007 test standard and DIN 5510-2:2009 classification standard - DIN 5510-2 'Fire tests for railway components'.
