TANKWAGENARMATUREN FITTINGS EN 14420-6

CONNECTION EQUIPMENT FOR FUEL SYSTEMS, DOCKS AND TANK TRUCKS ACCORDING TO THE EN14420-6 STANDARD (IN ACCORDANCE WITH DIN 28450).

These tanker components are widely used in Europe, first standardized by DIN 28450 in 1973. Later harmonization became EN14420 Part 6.

The junction is made up of 2 parts, the VK (male coupling) and MK (female coupling)
The female coupling in turn consists of a clamping ring lever and the crown ring.

They are available in 3 sizes: 2”, 3” and 4”

These joints are made of 2 different materials:
-Stainless steel AISI 316/CF8M /1.4408 with CSM lip seal and PTFE threaded seal
-CW614N brass with NBR (Buna) lip seal and PU thread seal
-Aluminium: caps only
-Polypropylene: caps only

The maximum working pressure is 16 bar.
